Each classic yacht carries a library of wildlife references,

with binoculars to check up on the local DOLPHIN

inhabitants, whale visitors and other exciting wildlife .

The owner, a retired marine Zoologist will probably be on

his own classic Westerly somewhere in the area, and can

be accessed by VHF or mobile phone  if you have any

wildlife -- or other --queries).

We are the only yacht charter company offering sailing in

the Moray Firth, Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal.

Relying on our local environment and wildlife, it

makes good sense to look after them.

NMYC are actively trying to be as "green"

and ecofriendly as possible; we wholeheartedly

support the Dolphin Space programme, the

WiSe Scheme, SAC, Green Blue, and 10:10.

Supporters of local food sourcing, NMYC can supply organic

provision boxes when required; on-board you will find

re-cycling bins and (sensible!) suggestions for where to

empty them.

Our oils and other technical wastes are disposed of

correctly, and of course, our yachts are re-cycled! --they

are refurbished to a very high degree, rather than use up

another few thousand barrels of oil producing another

sleek new hull or two!
